Owners Marc & Conor Bereen began their business partnership in 2003 and have created some of the most successful venues around, sometimes confounding their critics. They have both worked in the business at home and abroad for more then 15 years and each bring their own unique skill sets to the business. Marc and Conor are driven by fresh ideas, new concepts and by what the market really needs and what it really wants. They know the formulas that work and how to realise them.
Head Chef Edward Daly has a style that is a perfect match for Coppinger Row and is the driving energy behind our shared ideas. He brings the finest ingredients together to create sublime dishes that shout their individual flavours. Before Coppinger Row Ed had worked at some truly great restaurants. In London it was the French with "The Oak Room" as well "Foliage". His journey into Mediterranean food was forged during his time in Sydney, serving some of the best at "Ice Bergs" and "Wildfire". Since his return he has helped set up, chef for and dig out, restaurants that we believe to be some of the best in Dublin.
Chef Billy Scurry is on lunch duty with the freshest face in town behind our open kitchen. Billy comes up with new and deliciously different dishes each and every day for our customers. Lunches were hit hard of recent years, everywhere! Since he was given full rain he has managed to create a formula that is working amazingly and is conscious of what people want and at what price.
General Manager Ciaran McGonagle is the captain of our team, running front of house as well as most of what’s going on day to day. Ciarans experience in hospitality is broad and long. He has worked in Dublin's best pubs, bistros and restaurants. He is a core part of the product and how it is received. In Coppinger Row Ciaran has brought together a great team that has passion for their jobs and are happy in their working environment.
